Welcome to our website
My
name is Maiju Myllys and I live in Oulu - Finland, with my husband and our
three French bulldogs; girls Doris and Greta, and Veikko the man.
As a breeder I consider myself still a rookie -
however with constant urge to learn more.
Our first Frenchie Doris came to
our home on breeding terms in late summer of 2007, and after that the love
for this breed has only grown.
Our family grew by two more Frenchie girls in autumn of 2008 when Greta came
to us from kennel Denwest,
hopefully being
the
foundation bitch for our kennel.
Around the same time our Lithuanian import Minttu arrived to complete our
Frenchie family, but unfortunately her time with us was far too short.
However after some time we noticed that our family is not
complete without
a Frenchie boy... So after thorough research, long discussions
and even
longer wait, we went to Lithuania to meet Veikko's
breeder at kennel Cerera, and Veikko traveled with us to Oulu.
I completed the
Finnish Kennel Club's Breeder course in August 2008, and received my
kennel name in March 2009.
My aim is to breed French bulldogs by
keeping
the focus on quality of this wonderful breed. In order to reach
this,
for breeding I will only consider individuals that meet the breed
standard, have good temper and are healthy.
Every litter will be a result of thorough consideration, and from which I
could also leave
a puppy home.
Unfortunately this kind of arrangement is
rarely possible, so some promising puppies may be placed in good homes
nearby us on breeding terms.
I find great importance in honesty, openness and co-operation with other
breeders. Therefore as a breeder I myself will be honest and open,
which
also means that
any possible faults of our puppies will not be kept as a
secret. In breeding I will not use individuals that have a hereditary
illness,
are allergic, have bad temper,
or are otherwise untypical for the
breed.
If you find Frenchies as well as my targets as a breeder interesting, and
are interested in our puppies, please feel free to contact me
by phone or
e-mail.
I also hope that you are able to visit us to meet our dogs, as well
as the environment from where your possible new family member will come
from.
This way also we will have a chance to get to know you better, and are
able to "cross-examinate" the possible future owners of a Huithapelin puppy
:)
Please note that I do not take any reservations, and do not sell a
puppy without the potential puppy owner meeting "our gang" in person.
